Re: Suzuki Samurai Advice
Seen that milky stuff under the cap before and it was from a truck that only got driven very short distances. Solution might be a decent test drive and check it after Yeah think I might have to give that a go. It seems to have been meticulously maintained and it also seems to be common for vehicles...

Re: 31's on a Escudo???? How 'bout 245s????
I had 31s on my 3 door Escudo on 15x8 rims with -19 offset. It had a two inch body lift and a two and a half inch suspension lift. No rubbing issues. Cool, and how did you find the gearing? Did you lose much 'get up and go' ????? (Or braking for that matter?) I found the gearing alright. They aren'...

Suzuki Samurai Advice
Hey guys, Was hoping for a bit of advice. My elderly neighbours own a 1993 Suzuki Samurai with 175,000kms. I have been asking them to sell it to me for years and they finally gave me a call after putting a deposit down on a Jimny. I had a good look at it today. It is reasonably tidy. It has had two ...

Re: Surf intermittant starting issue
I also have this issue. Occasionally when I turn the key it just ticks. Sometimes if I hold it on for a second or two longer it will fire up but sometimes I have to turn it off and on until it starts. More often than not though it starts sweet so hasn't bothered me too much but has puzzled me. :? Al...

Hey guys.
Just wondering what your thoughts are on the diesel XJ? Reliableness etc.
I'm looking at buying one (2000 sport) but don't know much about them.
Thanks in advance

Re: FTS Lift Kit Help
Looks good, Which way up were the rear control arms fitted? Any need for 5 door handbrake cables? What is limiting the front and rear articulation out of interest. I have ended up with a lot of the components of that kit, together with some spring spacers, body lift, and control arms. Interested to...

Re: FTS Lift Kit Help
Unfortunately I ran out of time to get it fitted myself due to needing it as a daily at the moment. Got a mate to do it for a cashy. He said it went in all good. As soon as it was in it gave 4 inch of lift. Has probably settled a bit though. Love the kit though. No problem with camber in the front e...

Wanted: Escudo/Vitara Front Guards
Hi there.
I am after a cheap set of front guards for my 3 door Suzuki Escudo.
Not too worried about condition as long as they will fit on all good.
Preferably in the Christchurch, possibly Canterbury, area as I need them very soon!
Cheers

Re: Suzuki Escudo
So far its the front wheels rubbing when i go to turn. The back of each front wheel rubs on the inside of the guard. As you can see there isn't a lot of room.
The rubbing occurs at the bottom of the inner guard. In the top picture you can see the mark where it rubbed at the bottom on the plastic.
