$7500 for a pretty pimped disco 1. Who's keen?

I have to part with my beloved Discovery. I've had some great times and I'll be gutted to see it go. But I wouldn't have a clue what to ask for it. Any ideas of what I might be able to ask? Or any reasonable offers? I've compiled a list of stuff on it. I'm sure I've missed something though :-) Cheer...

Re: Any car washes, that fit your lifted truck in Auckland!?

haha. cheers guys. I basically have the problem where there's one or two regular mobil type carwashes that kinda still fit me. I know there must be others out there that work. Or I could just get over it and blast the truck properly at washworld...

Any car washes, that fit your lifted truck in Auckland!?

Hey guys. Random question. I'm no stranger to Washworld. But sometimes I just want to to run my truck through a carwash. I used to have a few ones around Auckland city that I knew I JUST fitted into in the Range Rover and Disco...but now with 33s and lifts and stuff....I'm finding I just never fit. ...

I can second that. For whatever reason it's requiring a lot of oomph to get back up the hill. You probably want at least mid tide or lower to get enough run up :)

Swap my near new 33" silverstones for your 35s?

Heu guys. I've used these 33 silverstones for a handful of woodhill runs. Probably only 500km of road use. Can still see the little rubber nobbie bits even. The spare is brand new. Come with tubes and on 15" +12 offset steel wheels to suit disco/RR/series/defender. I'm just looking to swap for ...

Re: Come join the Grey Lynn Offroad Adventure Club

Should the same thing happen when you are on a LROCA trip, NZFWDA insurance will supply a lawyer and cover the costs involved. Also if the trip causes other damage and a claim for is made against you, you will most likely be personally libel. Again LROCA and other NZFWDA clubs have this covered. It...

Re: Come join the Grey Lynn Offroad Adventure Club

Not sure if you were at the LROCA meeting that I addressed last year but there are several points that you need to be aware of. Should there be a fire in a forest when you are in the forest, you will most likely be held personally libel for the costs of fighting that fire, even if it is not proved ...

Anyone group of people can be called a 'club'. Its not just a word for official organizations. As far as I'm aware...but I'm not a lawyer. Even in legit incorporated clubs like the LROCA which I'm a member of.....individual members can sill be liable for damage caused to property etc. I think the di...

Come join the Grey Lynn Offroad Adventure Club

Hey guys. Long time and no posts from me. Making heaps of progress on my Land Rover S3 109. And I've picked up a 1984 Range Rover Classic which I'm loving too. It's a little bit tongue-in-cheek, but me and a couple of my 4x4 inclined Auckland City mates have started what we're calling the Grey Lynn ...

For Sale - maybe! - 1976 Land Rover Wellside (109)

Hey ORE, Some of you may be aware that earlier this year I got hold of a Series 3 109. I had big plans, adding another Landy to the stable, but unfortunately the city life, another blown diff on my Disco ($$$), and lack of a garage space basically, has meant that I'm considering parting ways with th...

So... If my 202 that came with my land rover doesn't sell on trademe.... I'm thinking it might be a wise idea to hang into it and get it into good shape to put into the series 3 at some stage.
