I would never go back to auto, it was shocking as auto. round town I you only use a couple of gears, 1 to get moving then leave it in 3rd or 4th

it will be draining one battery, your system will charge untill one is full meaning the one with the amp slowly goes flat.

Do wide axel conversion on the rear to, you get rubbing on chassis problems if you don't, all of this is covered in my old build thread, again quite searchable

The last time I was up there in the snow a few years back now the guy that lives by the track got me to tow his car up his access road as he didn't get it out in time, he only gets shitty when people drive through his fence. Again that track has been stuffed by water.
