Re: LJ78 vs ln65/106 diff parts
Unless the cvs are playing up , leave them alone. They are stronger than the hilux versions. I used a kit from Terrain Tamer for my swivel hubs (Don Kyatt in AKL) only a few things different due to being a Jap import. Thats the axle seal in the housing. Otherwise everything else fitted fine. Cheers...

Alloy?. lol. You may have either a C200 rear or h233b rear axle Yeah from memory it was a H190 diff from a ute, ute looked identical to the original posters photo, this one had blown the pumpkin completely apart and after 2 months of trying to find a replacement he managed to find a s/h diff head f...

Re: 91 navara 4x4 ute build
Nice, if you have a parts terrano it may pay to look at swapping the diffs, as some of these utes had a piss weak (alloy from memory) rear diff, where as the terrano rear is complete overkill for the application.

Cheers, they are steel pajero guards, cut the flares out and stitched them in, wanted a bit of a different look as the standard guards were rusted out

Had mysterious squeak in mine from the left hand side for ages, I was adamant it was the dash but turned out to be a loose screw on the LF speaker, only took around 8 months to find it!

I think this 89 hilux has just been relisted today, in Hawera for $4500, had a look and its full of bog in roof and pillars.

I used hippoliner inside my 410, using the Shutz ? type gun, came up real good. have no photos but compared to Raptor liner which ive used in the past, Hippoliner is a lot better.

Re: Newbie TD27T owner in the USA. WD21 with Terrano Engine
give it a good clean up then run it up. On that side of the engine you have the oil pressure sender, and also the oil to water oil cooler (alloy plate bolted to block) this has 2 plugs from memory that could be leaking or it could be the gasket / o rings behind it.
