Hi ive decided to go down the twin stick route. Ordered a shaft seal. Looking for a shaft sleeve/ dust cover . Looking for a pto winch handle so i can lock lever in position. hi thanks for the replys.
Checking if i have this right;
Using factory levers, shift into 4wd hi or low, This still only 2wd until moving diaphragm activated lever, shifting front output into 4wd?

to be honest i haven't removed to see what is posable and cant remember what didnt work. push button hi is all thats lost? then blanking plate?

Hi, manual operation. trucks road going, just seeing what others had done before re inventing the wheel.
i know its a pain when pulling the engine/ box out gets- snagged alot.

so i have my 5 speed and transfercase from my 89 cruiser siting on the shed floor ( for 2 years) i ran a v8 in the truck, didn't keep the vacume stuff from original firewall setup. Question to the experts Is there a mod for removal / change of parts for the transfer case diaphragm thing by the front...

The later model chevy transfer cases are left hand side drop, stick to your original trans. Unless you want to keep your truck forever rebuild what you've got. Hard to sell modified trucks and you will spend a lot doing it. my 5c

HaHa yea i know, I'm invested in this transfer case now, just fitting the slip yoke eliminator to the front and its pulled down with all the rebuild parts waiting to go in. And want to keep it in the original truck.

hi Yea ,skid its definitely not the sunroof now. I couldn't find any wire in the shed so.... silicon sealed up until i make a steel panel for it, I hate that sun roof. :o . hi all
My 80 is leaking. The door seals must be stuffed. After it rains wet sills all round and smelly carpet.
Has anyone had this problem and replaced. Where could new seals be found?

hey, yea running 3 link with custom panhard. So not sure.
All ways how it goes mod one thing and 5-6 mods around it, now it works nicely.

Camber is un changed because your mounting back in the same position just on opposite sides.
We did cut off the drag link arm for reasons i can't remember but if you need to cut small amounts at a time because its hollow.
O and gusset knuckles while your there if not all ready done :mrgreen: .

The nissan safari knuckles can be changed from left to right. moving the tie rod mounts to the front for hydraulic/ orbital steering.

ive got an 07, goes well, just small issues on mine ,window switches, bent tailgate overloaded, no key hole in door so had more keys cut and coded x2 = $800, engines require more expensive oil.

kiwi shipping set up an account, ship it to their california depo and they send it here easy as. most usa shops have free ground freighting any. thats how you get around shops not sending internationaly too. hurry up

hi turbos used, engine went well before dropping a connecting rod. I wanted to sell maybe helping someone out with a conversion all the bolts little bits you need for a clean factory job. not just a manifold and a turbo. new turbos are easily purchased. :)
