So just skip the plug and connect the two wires together? Relays got fitted at the auto sparky so shouldn't burn out any more but they never fixed the plug or wire

Yup upgrded headlights sorted the power feed so shouldn't get hot anymore just need to fix the plug guy at repco was useless so I guess I might try the wrecker next

Had a small issue where the lights wouldn't go and the high beam light was permanent on. I took it down to an auto sparky and they reckoned they're fixed it well two days later and the same issue occurred. cheers for the offer but i should have updated this earlier. i bought a tidy 1990 hilux with 215xxxks did all the checks and ks are original im the 3rd owner since imported in 04 and the mechanic said it was a goodie

doesnt start at all. the noise was almost a sqreching rattle and the normal motor noise was a hell of a lot louder all the belts at the front are in tact and tight. hopefully the boss is going to help me tow it down to the local workshop and see if they can work it out. just trying to get a rough id...

the noise was kinda normal just alot louder and there was also quiet alot of i dunno maybe whinning noise coming from the front end of the motor

so i drove the truck down to the milking shed and turned it off. started her up and the motor was making a little bit of noise nothing unusal though got to the end of the tanker track and went to indicate and the motor stalled. i restarted it and she chucked out some black and white smoke got 10 met...

took the old mitsi in for a warrent fearing that there would be to many issues to bother spending the money. only issues were shagged brakes (every warrent), right hand wheel bearing, both upper ball joints and the uj on the front drive shaft. isnt going to be overly expensive so ill get the work do...

got 5 minutes to waterblast the truck and even cleaned the engine up a bit. discovered some rust in the pillars and an oil leak where the dipstick meets the sump. i new i should have left it coated in mud

Got conscripted into helping the parents move house some nice new land to play on. somehow found 5 mins to go have a quick play with a mate and his we escudo they go quite well for what they are.

prefer shims just so i can quickly pull them on or off. are the washers road legal lol? and they dont fall out so long as the idiot at the tyre shop remembers to tighten the nut back up so that the top arm doesnt try escaping again.

Got a wheel alighnment done went for a play broke my headlight then fixed it. Steering didn't feel right had a look and the wheel alighnment guys hadn't tightened up one of the top arm bolts when they were correcting the camber.
