The terrano tow bar should be the same. They do have 2 different tow bars one with wheel under and one with the tyre on the back.

An MC class (4wd) vehicle imported into New Zealand on or after 1 March 2016 must be fitted with an electronic stability control (ESC) system unless: it is over 20 years old it is a special interest vehicle you’re bringing it with you when emigrating or returning to live in New Zealand. That is off ...

Usually when they are leaking it is the inner axle oil seal leaking diff oil into the swivel ball diluting the grease. Personally I would strip and inspect it just to check.

I drove a 2wd D21 N/a td27 for work and it wouldn't do 100k's into a strong headwind. Turbo conversion fixed that.

Re: Hilux SAS cert
The easiest option for you is to get the current owner to cert it on the agreement you will purchase it once the cert is done.
2nd option is to get it inspected by a certifier to find out what needs to be done to get cert before you agree on a price.

What bits are getting rusty? If it is wheel cylinders or calipers get the resleeved in stainless.
I think you would find the boiling point of anti freeze to be to low and even moderate used would cause bad brake fade.

You wont get any power to the plug with it disconnected. It needs to be plugged in for the controller to get a circuit through the limit switches.

Re: QD32 into WD21 questions
If you keep your auto get a factory turbo motor and just change your pump over. The ETi motors and later D22 Qd32 have the gear driven vac pump and this is a good thing as you have much more options with alternators. If you plan to go manual get a motor and box from a D22 and put your pump and turbo...

The safari box has nothing in common with a skyline box as it is truck based, you could possibly look into a gear set out of a Civillian or Atlas if you could find info on the ratios in them.

Re: Side Airbags
When the curtain bags deploy they come down between the passengers head and the side window, so if you have cutouts that start at the top edge of the seat back and the outside edge of the headrest there should be no impairment to the bag deploying or anything to alter its course. If you put a net in...

Re: Small noisy 12V horn inside the cabin???? 94 Nissan Homy
Only other option could be a low water level alarm but I have never seen one factory fitted to a nissan van. I still think vacuum is the most likely culprit. Some where around the engine will be a vacuum switch and the little hose going to it may be split of broken and have been disturbed while doin...

Could be a low vacuum warning. If so it will have the hand brake light on at the same time with the hand brake off.

Could you use a net instead of a solid barrier? If done well it would prevent groceries in the back off the head and still be able to deform to allow side airbag deployment.

We use urethane at work to glue solar panels on to camper vans, once cured you could pick the camper up by the panel.
We use the Wurth one as they do it in white, most glass places will only have black.

D21 Terranos don't have factory relays for the head lights, they are direct from the switch to the lights. Do you get power to the headlight fuses with the switch on, the 2 for low will get power with the switch on and in the low position and the same for the high fuses. If it has had relays added t...

Often when they wear the shaft they suck engine oil through the pump and your diesel will get darker. You would notice when you change the filter.

Sounds pretty much like what happened to me, Dan. What did you end up doing (other than not going up hills a...

3 and 6 are the contacts of the relay, bridging those should make it wind over. If it doesn't check you have power to either 3 or 6 and then that the power is getting to the starter with it bridged. The part number for the 60 amp unit is LR260-502 or LR260-504 and is found on NPR and NKR trucks with 4HF1, 4HG1 and 4HJ1 engines. There is also a listing for an 80 amp unit that is for the later 4HJ1 and 4HK1 engines.

The injectors shouldn't change anything. I would check to see if you are getting power to the little wire on the starter when the key is turned to start. The start feed enters the engine harness from the connector close to the battery where the loom comes from the engine to the body and will be eith...

If you want to increase positive castor( this is needed for the steering to self center and go in a straight line) you want to roll the diff rearward so the wedges will have the thick end to the front.
