Re: Seeking a Wellington club

Best bet is CCVC

You could look at Wgtn family but they aint too shiny or the old ORE online club which is now Kiwi, but they just thrash Rallywoods every other weekend.

He's still cruising around.
The 70 series flatdeck is his tow wagon for his sweet 40 series toy.
I believe his dial up days are gone now, they finally caught up in the sleepy seaside town of Makara Beach

Re: Standard 80 series

As said above you will have to run 16" rims. You can stick to factory ones or if you are looking at aftermarket steelies then you can go ti a 16x8" with a negative 28 offset. Tyres you can run the 285/75r16 or the 305/70r16. You can do all of this on a standard height 80. Just to wet your ...

Re: 750 16 AT tyres wanted

Keep an eye out on tardme or the bookface marketplace for factory wheels n tyres off the landcruiser flatdecks. A lot of folks are chucking massive wheels on so there must be lots of standard wheels lying around ;-) Failing that I have a set of new hilux wheels n tyres. 225/70 R17 on factory steelie...

Should be fine.

Marine batteries are designed to take a pounding over the waves etc

So I would imagine bumping along 4wd tracks wouldnt hurt them either ;-)

WTB "live plates"

As the title suggests, I am looking for some live plates for a Jeep.

Ideally I would prefer 1942 Ford GPW but will be more than happy for anything flat fendered or even maybe a wee bit later in the early CJ years.

PM please if you have anything remotely close to what I am asking.

Cheers

I love the camper tent setup........... It handles wind no problem, but the Aussies don't have rain like we do in the South. The canvas is waterproof enough, but the design of the bracing poles leave them in contact with the canvas so it does leak a little where the poles are touching the roof. I h...

4wdbits are actually a very true indication of what's available in the country, if its not listed on their website, then you can pretty much guarantee its not in the country ;-) ;-)
