cheers thanks for that...i was thinking there must be something different than the starter hole...that plate does it just drop down when you loosen everything or is it on guide pegs

i would start with the prim pump the filter is on...they can play up...pump it up before you start it and while its running rough at the start

prolly better drinking milk before hand :D...have seen roll cages in dirt cars made out of galv and black pipe and out of the rolled cars i've seen only the black pipe bend or kinked

did you try stopping the drivers front wheel to see if the load would shift to the left side sometimes only one wheel will spin at a time

went to auckland to pick up some bullbars for the terrano and a patrol transfercase met all the possum place winch challenge trucks on the way home...had to do a bit of a detour to get home

There's only 1 single minor advantage in the v6 and that's power, but not much, but then the td27s can be made to scream easy too.. Honestly there is no real argument. The td27 is simpler, more reliable, beter on gas more water proof and with a few tweeks will provide more power than the v6 cheers ...

i had the same trouble as never used the winch for awhile so drenched it with crc and just ran the rope out by the pto and hooked it up to the other truck put the winch in free spool and slowly winched up a little incline...it started to come free about halfway...properly not the best way of freeing...

had an old terrano given to me 4 years ago which was a beach hack so thought would try and get it going but everything sounded a bit tired so moved to an old landrover which had came in a deal with a ld28 in it so about 20 tows along the drive it fired and ran...think its been sitting for about 7 ye...
