F##king a$$holes. That's a bloody low blow. Not worth stocking up too much on the Heavys. MoT has this covered, current RUC's expire 1 month in RUC licences for heavy vehicles will expire one month after the date of the increase. RUC licences for light vehicles (3.5 tonnes and under) will not expir...

I don't see why you couldn't do it? But dude what's the point? That's like making your garage overalls just to say you can. You can pick up chains direct from importers for bugger all these days. I got some for our 6 wheeler truck the other day for $300.
