Re: E/C Hilux body onto 130 chassis
Lol so it is I didn't notice that! I'm sure I've read on hear about using an extra cab chassis under a 130 but asked on here before and got the same answer. Then read above that extra cab fits on surf chassis but I guess that's different because the cab will stop short of the rear wheels

Re: Hilux SAS cert
Option 1 out of the question unfortunately. And I'm not sure a certifier would be keen on inspecting it for nothing if I didn't go ahead with it.
Also what's involved with putting a turbo on a 2.8 would it still go alright if I just removed it all or would there be a bit more to it?

Hilux SAS cert
Hi guys I'm looking at buying a ln107 with a sas conversion. Looks to be done pretty well with extended shock towers and long shocks. Problem is it has no cert. Would this be a straight forward job my understanding is it can be done by a component welder not necessarily a ticketed welder so I should...

Another SAS question.
Sure this has been covered but not having any luck finding the info.
What breed hilux chassis will fit my ln130 surf. I know there is one that requires body mounts to be moved but not too worried about that.
Cheers

Re: no front nimber plate?
I had a old falcon that had been backed into damaging the front plate. I rang up and got replacement plates making sure to get the same numbers because i didnt want to end up with GAY123 type plates.
They sent me two plates out cost bugger all aswell.

Re: Comy V6 surf wont start
Yeah i understand i have fuel and spark. My understanding of wasted spark was that one cylinder is ignited while compressed and another "empty" cylinder is also ignited simultaneously. I was thinking that since it wasnt sparking on time the "empty" cylinder may not be empty becau...

Re: Comy V6 surf wont start
Will disconnect tps tommorow and see what it does, at the moment it just turns over for a while then kicks back and backfires.
So im guessing the wasted spark set up would cause it to backfire?

Re: IFS surf diff head lokka install
Diff is back in surf now havent tested it though. Cheers for the link but doing it the way they show would of damaged the bearing. In this case it cant of been driven home properly and was stopping the head coming out of the housing.
