12v acc sockets and door mirror retract no go, on 91 Paj
The 12volt acc power sockets, both front and rear no longer have power to them. And also the electric mirror retract in and retract out feature no longer works. Unsure if the faults are connected to each other. Power sockets annoy but the mirror retract feature is something I use a lot in the sticks...

Try this: Directly opposite the fuse box under the dash is a white plastic panel with the fuse holder attached. You wont see the fuse until you open the little holder it is in. Has a red wire and blue and white wire running out of it. Pain in the butt to get to as well. 15 amp job. Hope it may help....

Yep true it is slightly lower but do you know where the LR disco V8 engine ECU is. Yeah that's right the arguable king of 4WD's brands locates this most vital piece of equipment probably the lowest possible point inside the cabin. Under the front seat. Ive never understood why they don't locate them...

Re: Rear diff locker
Test as NJV6 recommends. You would be able to hear the compressor pump for a very short period of time, they only pump to 8psi. The air inlet pipe is normally open .
The speed at which it clicks in is safety feature for the diff and is not really recommended to take away from it.

Push the set button once then drive in a circle clockwise direction and then drive in a anticlockwise direction circle.
It doesnt matter which direction you do first.
I have found it resets it self some wherein that process. but I have had to do it twice once to get it behave.

The TradeMe trader muzzaduck has been making and selling kits for Pajero for sometime now. How many of you guys run without the sway bars in place.
And how was the four wheeling without the front bar on and or rear bar.
Tell me what you think and which bar or bars you have removed.
Answers both good and bad is desired for off road and road use.
Cheers John.

Thanks heaps guys , you've have been a great help for this little project. In NJV6 posting in Australian forum quote:If you do go for the 4.9's you can use the Left hand side cv from the 4.6 put you must use the 4.9 cv for the RHS as the bolts don't line up otherwise. Bugger it's the only bit I have...

It is really simple. The wiring loom is all there, all you do is plug it in! Plug the switch in, plug the compressor in, plug the ECU in, (I can tell yuo where they all go) and then plug the wire in that is currently attached to the diff for the dash light. PLug them in, press the switch and hey pr...

HI Jonny, I have doen this swap as well so can help here. I went from 4.6 to 4.9 ratio however. The compressor that comes with it needs to be used as the air locker only uses 5 - 7 psi to work. Diff ratio change over in NH.
Is it possible to change from a 4.875 front diff (NH 3.0 v6 5 speed manual)
to a 5.285 front diff ( 2.5 Diesel )And the rear as well.
Wanting to change (lower) ratios for better gearing for larger tyres.
not very sure on the business of the splines etc.
Cheers
