Re: New exhaust 90 series Prado
Bit late with reply sorry. Autobend do a Rage exhaust option. Dump pipe you may need to get custom made by someone like Toms Off-road. Put egt sensor in exhaust manifold I.e.before turbo

Re: Snorkel on a 1996 Prado
90 series is a 90 series. 1996-02. The 90 is the SWB version (95 being the LWB) but everyone calls them 90s.
The diesels have the air box on on the left side (passenger side). It should fit. Have a look on eBay too and Aliexpress. Same thing.

Re: New KZN185 1KZ
Yep, both the water temp unit and the egr temp unit in my thread are from Auberins. The stock dash temp gauge is utter crap. You'll know what I mean when you install the Auberins. Depending on what gauge you have you can mod the actual gauge by adding some gizmos (a resistor I think) but only on a c...

Re: Can anyone help with this please?
So far I've found its either a 14" Holden commodore or a HQ pattern. 80mm centre hole.
The two are very similar 120mm versus 120.65mm! but not identical so I need to work this out...

Can anyone help with this please?
Hi. Just hoping a learned guru on here might be able to help identify what this rim is from please? I know it's a long shot but am trying to get another one to match. It's off an old trailer 14" and I need another to match as a spare. Thought it might be worth a shot as it has those distinctive...

Thanks for the part number. I'll google Under the vehicle I definitely see the T you mention. It looks like the diag above, the sensor screws into one of the cooler lines from above. I didn't notice that torx bolt in the link you posted. Will have another look as that could be the go if it's there! ...

1KZTE auto trans oil sensor
1KZ TE Can anyone tell me what the thread is for the Auto trans oil temp sensor please? Is it 1/8 NPT? Or BSP? Or GAS? I want to install a second sensor and run it up to a gauge. Thinking this is the easiest place to insert an adaptor so I can screw the orig back in and have a second hole for the ne...

Re: Where to get a copper/brass radiator for '96 Prado?
I did this recently. Same engine as yours. Just wanted some piece of mind especially as I started towing. Did the mods as mentioned above. Flushed it many times (a whole heap of brown shit is hidden in the lines going to the rear passenger heater if you have one of those), Rad from Fenix Radiators i...

Re: Recovery Tracks
I got a couple of those ridge rider ones when they were on sale at supercheap once. Cost me $40 I think so I thought what the hell... Only used them twice, they're ok. Just a simple roll up rubber slat design with wire going through to hold them all together. Better than nothing but winch is better :D

The police went digital a while ago now , so no you can't. Haven't used the baofengs but they look ok. They are able to be "tuned in" to frequencies that you shouldn't be transmitting on so they scare some people. I just bought a GME 80 ch mobile unit and got a free handheld but yeah it wa...
