I've got one of their rear bars for my 80 series, with swing tire and jerry can holder.
Easy to Fit, reliable so far, been on for almost 18 months. Needed two reflectors for WOF, other than that, I would buy one again.
No where near as polished as the big brands, but can't beat the price.

Digging up an old thread, I have a water leak that appears to becoming down the D pillar and pooling in the bottom of it and then spilling into the rear wheel arch area. Any issues found to do with the D pillar? I have pulled everything that can be and resealed, now wondering if water is spraying u...

Can't remember who I used (in CHC) to recondition mine back in the day, but with genuine Toyota head it was $1,600 inclusive. From what I have been told/heard its not worth using an aftermarket head.

You need the Toyota full part number, then you can be pretty sure it will work, ie:

Due to the amount of time I spend in rivers, I took the carpet out of the 80, which of course has made the cabin quite noisy on the road. Is it worth installing this stuff? http://restosupplies.co.nz/index.php?route=product/product&path=149&product_id=403 Does it need carpet on top to protec...

My only thought is if you know anyone with an empty transport container, drive in and set off a flea/ bug bomb or similar and close the container door. Or failing that you can get huge plastic bags from places like Blackwoods (called fish bags) same thing envelope car and set off a bug bomb. thats ...

Re: Diff Breathers - What to buy and where?
I've always run everything in together. Thanks, good to know. I figured that if so many manufacturers sold them running all together then they must work fine, but then for people to go to the effort to run all separate lines maybe there is some truth to their story. Thanks Other opinions???? In the...

I reckon it's engine braking that's caused it to finally go. Having changed to a manual gearbox, my guess is that is now the weakest link.

At a recent WOF we had to get clarification from LTSA. If you dont want the hassle of getting a cert/re-certifying - Make sure you don't touch the brake pedal, cut too much out of the trans tunnel, modify the cross member or cut the firewall (the 80 series had blanks in place where the various bits...
