MBE good call with rev limter but with more inspection looks like most of damage was fun wen I hydroliked it is that engine you have in all good shape as have all nessacwry parts

iv got the 5 speed manual in mine i just looked on a site and people are using the vg33 it bolts up to gear box and usse the same mounts ect with minimal stuff needing to be changed on it,

or as you said rebuild a vg30

also heard of the erlier vg30det with a rebuild go bloody ausam

chur for advice the second engine blew a rod out the side of the engine i think it could have been from an earlier experience where i hydroed my engine and could have damaged engine conponents then that had just givin out it was a little down on power but just thought it was the new 33s i had put on...

just blew up my second motor and was wondering if I could use the vg30 motor out of the Nissan maxima to replace my one in my truck if not anyone in Auckland or anywhere know where to find a good engine cheers everyone sorry if its a dumb question

hey mate i seen what you did with the steering and am also thinking of doing it as mine needs a rehual. i managed to find a spear steering set up and was wondering if i would be able to use my old power steering unit on the passanger side todo what you did?

Bumper has to come off umm the viscous fan u need to put a chain around and think is like a 24mm spanner to take it off remove shround and can get easy access to it I have just rebuilt a kj Cherokee 2002 so very similar design except front grille comes straight out on them to get radiator access thi...

my v6 body lift and 50 ml spring lift got snorkel to go on and on 33s, had an engine swap and alot of hard work on the driveway

hi every one have been doing a lot of searching on the net I have a 1991 Nissan terrano its a v6 petrol vg30e and iv gone through a set of auto locking hubs can any one tell me the what spline they are are they 27 or 28 have read that the v6 are 28 all through the years but am not shore could anyone...

yea went up there the other weekend with just 31s went good I did hydro sizue my engine but you live and learn these things took many sparkplugs ect off turned her over and she was bang on trustey vg30 im doing a 50ml body lift and some guard trimmage and am hoping that will do my mate just done the...

hey guys just prepping to do a lift in two weeks just doing 2.5 inch lift and was wondering from the guys who have done this befor what I need to extend in reguard to brake lines fuel lines ect

Judging by your user name, it's for a Terrano? Experience says stay away from the poly blocks as they aren't that large in diameter and tend to move on the extended bolts and cause cracking of the front foot wells. Box section worked great to spread the load over a larger area. As above, I used 50x...

im looking for more clearance as have had a few issues with clearance up marawai beach and lets be honest its no fun watching your friends laugh at you when you get stuck :evil: :evil:

i have 15inch rims and have 31x10.5 on it with offset woud 32s be enough to get the clearance i want????

yea im planing on doing a boady lift i have 31s on at the moment but am wanting to go bigger to get more clearance for my dif so was thinking 33s what is the issue with the 33 inch tires?
