Just a suggestion, disconnect that red hose from the intake and put it into a catch can. It will only start making an oily mess of your nice clean turbo, intake, and intercooler when you fit one.

Probably why you won't find any other manufacturer who has a short and a long on coils with the same basic platform (apart from the length) Defender 90, 110, 130?? Not 100% sure, maybe there are some differences... Apparently when they released the 127 in the 80's, all they did was take a 110, chop...

Re: D21 transfer case
V6 Transfer case had larger drive chain and different output spline count. Talk to kbjj, apparently pretty easy to make it work. Cool mod. edit: that's input spline. Strip both transfer cases and swap the input gear, autos have a bigger input shaft than the manuels. The v6 auto transfer case I got ...

I'd try tipping ball bearings down the auto dipstick tube, the smaller the better, a handfull should do it. If that does nothing, try sand fuckwit. all you had to do was direct him to the search function. It was meant as a 'tongue in cheek' way of pointing him in the direction of the auto tra...

Yeah about 2.30, back at camp about 4.30 - 5.00. Broken rear left window on my truck, and a few love taps, bent idler arm on the surf, minor stuff really. If I didn't have family responsabilitys, we talked of driving back in to the top of the chasm (at the Clark end) to watch. I havn't driven it the...

Tyre size would be some critical info for an educated comment, but if your only after looks, capability's as a 4x4 will be comprimised. I'm on 8 inch rims and would like to go narrower to give more sidewall exposure to protect bead and rim and help keep tyre on the bead, but cert is getting tighter ...

On the manuel boxes, the two switches that look the same control the 4wd light. Ones normally open, the other normally closed and the're wired in series. They can be an arse to remove without damaging if over tightened, and have ball bearings in behind them (one has 1 & the other 3 I think)

As you say, on a trailer queen not a bad idea. I think you should keep the the cab as is, somewhere to keep all your gear clean and dry (make a rack to keep cloths and sleeping bag off the floor, maybe stretchy mesh to roof), stop gear from getting covered in gorse, somewhere to sleep if need be, im...

a challange diesel will not suit your needs at all , another model woujd be a better idea I would suggest it would be ideal actually. If you plan on keeping the standard ca48 arse, I recommend using readline oil, especially with your planned extra horsepower. I wore two c&p's out until I started using it, still going strong.

Yeah, chain ends of housing to I-beam with enough room to get a bottle jack between. To check which way to tweak housing, I used an old 2 spider open centre diff with spiders and crown removed, spun two bushes up and fitted to diff centre (where axel enters centre) that suited a piece of bar I had. ...
