wanting to find/buy a front output shaft for my 3 spd cruiser transfer case.
if anyone has a T case in parts or a buggered one i can buy/rob the front output shaft out of or buy the whole thing.
out of action untill i find one

sounds like a bloody good idea, an entry level winch chalenge of sorts for the cheap basterds like me as long as i can use my 80m x 11mm steel rope

day turned out relatively fine :D and great fun had by all :lol: .... except my front drive shaft at the end of the day had enough and parted company with the transfer case :? .... DOH ! summit reached again with a bit of battleing :twisted: and most of the way up to the top clearings but ran out of...

2.4 turbos are prone to head cracks yes, the non turbo 2.4 is a very reliable motor,,under powered but reliable. if you can find a 2.8 version it would be the better choice

theres some nice cheap winches on trade me at the mo no idea what the quality of them is like im picking that all you would need is about a 6000lb one for the rugger, bout the same as a zooki in size so... maybe talk to the zooki owners a bit about what they have and get thier oppinion

should have clamps on the bell housing or block to hold that piece of pipe ridged to the manifold so no flex occurs there, but be rubber mounted from there back... if that makes sense

is the exhaust system rubber mounted or ridged to the body/chassis, if it is ridged to the body/chassis you will have problems all the time as the motor flexes on the engine mounts and strains against the rest of the pipe or as pinky says,warped manifold face, get it planed/milled flat,new gasket,bo...

as far as im aware the maxima motor shold bolt right up to terano box as they come out (v6 R3m) with the 3l maxima motor in them anyway, not sure if there is a fifference between the diesel and petrol running gear tho, i would imagine they would be the same maybe
