yesterday we were hav a clean up in the workshop and found a roll of 9mm wire cable 6 strand , is it to big to fit to my winch or use it as a winch extentsion, a quick measure up my drive looks like over 80 ft of it any ideas

my weedend trip at Rangitaiki we has 8 trucks 3 suzukis a surf , a cruisier a torrano , mitzi double cab ute the crusier had A/T 's as did the torrano the ute i was the only one with a winch not a bad place to drive mainly worn tracks of pumice had to do some spade work to make the drivable for the ...

will add with the mazda ute sitting on the flat it has 18mm of travel before bump stops , has a lot of downward travel, so everybig bump hole what ever that force is then applied to the suspension arms and mounts, not the springs taking the load, there is a limit to how long you can hammer something...

I follow a safari around a lot in my first year 4wd , the torsion did its job but the safari with its coil spring just did it better thats why i brought one and retired the ute

i found out about this road in andy cockrofts 4wd offroad adventures published 2002 so more than a few people will know the road is there and could be drivable , all we want to do is make it more so , don't see a problem with that me self

we had a run up muriwai beach today. start in the line of trucks third ended up last with tail end charlie, as the tyres just didn't work in the sand. to much like hard work , called it a day took the next exit off the beach,
