that is taken ,that you have removed the hub bolts, then it should come off, like any hub

put mine on its side in a hole , passangers side shut it of straight way , restarted, winched out, no lasting problems.

it's a slow job welding with, the renforcments of the front diff,rings are the same,
small welds let each cool before the next :D

diff oil plugs

after a few deep river drives, in turangi and national park , changing oil in the diff is a hard job as plugs are all banged up, pulled one out of my old old diff , garage has got hold of another , will weld rings on to protect these ones .
they will be 55mm ID and 65mm OD ten mil thick :D

took xtrail of Rotovagas friday nite que to leave Auckland wasn't to bad ,
saturday drove to Taumaranui to check out a 4wd place called Gobush, got taken around the place in cut down vitara with interesting tyres ,trip details confirmed ,drove back to Roto ,

used a thee pulley block to lift 80x80 mm x5 mm x8 metres long RHS ,up two stories on a building site ,hand over hand no strain at all,
it works nicely
oh a sailing ships of the line use pulley blocks in the rigging :lol:

refilled the works ranger diesel in hamilton at full mileage reading was 980 km till empty ,drove to new plymouth and back to Auckland on that tank ,

may need to extend rear bump stop to stop rubbing ,or put up with it like i do , and give the guards a thump to clear when full extension on each side

we found that one behind the axle seal laying on its side the other was in the diff pumpkin :D

started to check the safari out WOF Wensday weee, James attacked the 40 to replace broken cv bit of damage to the lands in side the hub from broken bits , found a stray washer type thing in the axle shaft of the diff doesn't come through hub side didn't get there that way , so diff head out tomorrow...

no drop boxes, yes, it will handle like factory due to the front axle not moving , stiff as a board. otherwise buy superior engineering front arms made for a three inch lift. caster bushes help caster not movement . longer lower rear arms heavy duty and adjustable top arms to help d /shaft angle ( y...
