the vg30 gearbox is not compatible with the td/qd/zd, not only is the input shaft not match(diesel flywheel clutch etc alot thicker and heavier leaving not enough room for the fork to travel) the gear ratios would make that aforemention sweet spot un-usable with a diesel as you'd be either to low i...

Could do, the ecu has the ability to pull the timing back but of it's only doing it once warm of be looking at the ecu temp sender circuit.

just thinking about your project and reminded me of something, if you have ever seen the documentary "race to Dakar" they used one of these (or similar, maybe slightly newer model) as a support vehicle with aftermarket suspension the works, from memory it did the entire rally with only one...

On the mitsi's you should be able to gain around 20mm just by "flipping" the ball joint.
basically unbolting it from the top of the UCA and bolting it underneath, you will gain the thickness of the body of the ball joint and the thickness of the control arm.

with the snatch points you are probably best to use the bar you have made to mount the hooks as the bar will take the load from the two bolts holding the hook on and the nar in itself will spread the load accross the front of the chassi of the vehicle ...as apposed to attempting to make or incorpera...
