Re: Farm land usage for 4wd events
if you can get a registered club to sanction the event you could possibly use that clubs liability insurance. we have a similar arrangement with a block of land we use for 4wd events. however it is only the job of the club to ensure a paper trail of safe practice and record attendies (day member shi...

+1 on the higher milage GU, they are all of the age of needing maintance , new bushes, bearings seals etc so might as well go for a newer one that doesn't have the hidden rust in the roof structure.

Re: paj1 build up
Cool thanks, will do more research into changing to thos cams. Read a lot on ozzy forums and they always talk about changing cams to Magna/diamanté cams but a lot of what they deal with is sohc and I'm unsure what they are referring to, different spec cars sold to different country's etc. Yep I've ...

Also do you have any info on that engine? Like the year etc? Reason I ask is my 3.5 runs out of puff at about 5500 rpm yet the rev limiter is at somewhere just over 7000. The cams from the engine you have might be different and might make power higher in the rpm range which I'd like, and drop strai...

Diamante and magna s are 4 cam 2.5 and 3.5
No I don't like how the manifold sits and won't have room with the s/c in relation to the throttle body.

Adjust the shoes out so you have to use a rubber mallet to tap the drums back over them, secondly.. Bleed it and the load sensing valve above the diff.then at the drums.. ...on a side note....swap tge drums and shoes side to side and see if ya fet tge same result. we used to have an Isuzu fsr truck ...

Do you have room for a second 12v alternator? Then run an auxiallry loom to a single deep cycle 12 volt battery radio, 2way, led lights, fridge etc. The other option is to get a v.s.r and wire it to the second battery + post before the earth to body/engine then to aux battery. Either option will cos...

It would have to be a malfunction to go into limp mode and you'd have an unresponsive throttle, the engine would only idle. They can't be adjusted that far out. If it is misaligned you would know (if auto) as the shift pattern for the transmission would be all over the place and if manual it would h...

Nextmost likley culprit is tge loom itself.....thats a whole new pain in the butt. All else fails a Mechanical pump (automatic) and accelerator cable wd21 terrano will solve all those issues and then refit your tps and extend the loom to the pump for it so it can still operate the auto trans properl...

It goes into the greater Wellington regional council recreation area I believe and requires permission and entry is gained from a different location. Yes access for 4x4's is allowed but you'd need to ask some one like mattman as to the details

yep, the falcon fans will drop paj1's temp from 95 to 60 in a matter of minutes at full noise, and with a 50mm core radiator the fans dont even turn on at anything over 50kph. as above via thermo switch and three position switch for auto/off/manual found i didnt really need to wire them with the ser...
