Don't what Tom does for bends but I just bought a 3.5" donut from Chase exhaust.

I have a set of 5 BFG KM2's and a 6th hankook spare. All on steel hilux rims. Can't remember their metric size but they are basically 32.somethings. BFG's are all around 8-10mm tread from memory and the hankook is warrantable.
Could get em all to chch if you were keen.

Re: mounting winch 'backwards'?
But if you pull the rope off the top instead of the bottom (once you have turned the winch left to right), then the rope is infact feeding off in the same direction, just 180 degrees earlier. As such the drum is rotating in the same direction and the brake functions as per the factory intention.

Re: mounting winch 'backwards'?
Yeah. If your rope goes off the bottom normally, and you turn it round, then the rope now needs to come off the top for some brakes to work.

What type of bender? Bow and arrow?
And when you say 44mm do you mean 1"1/4 steam pipe? (Which from memory is about 42.something OD).
If so then I can probably help you. If not, then I will check my other dies when I get home.

Hi Doddzee. I may be making my point poorly. Yes. I have a little experience with the heavy transport industry. To be clear, I am not talking about the stability of heavy transport vehicles. Nor am I talking about their modification. The sole reason with which I make reference to the heavy transport...

With regard to the safety issue of the lifted vehicles chassis being at windscreen height, give me a break. Can any body say Kenworth? Mack? Scania? There are more of these "extra risk vehicles" on the road than there ever will be of our lifted recreational vehicles. It's hard to believe ...

My comp truck had a winch mounted at the rear. It feed out the front through guides. When I needed to winch backwards I just grabbed slack rope and pulled it out the back (through a fair lead) add in a snatch block and hey presto. This deleted the potential problem of permanently running forward rou...

Is that the MANZ 44mm tube? If so, you may wish to see what others think about using it for an exo. Personally I think it's a bit light.

Awesome. That is reassuring. I have also set up so I can either run twin pumps or parallel filters. Again for redundancy more than actually any need
But it was all a guess based on dead recoking. Good to hear someone who is successfully running it. Thanks.

What's the snake rule? If it head is the same size as its body then it's poisonous. If the head is wide/bigger than the body you are safe as (assuming you don't sit still long enough for it to crush you)
Will ask about freight.

This is going back 5 or so years, but my grandfather used to ship his high top troopy over and back ever two years. Cost him roughly $5000 for each return trip. Fair enough. Yours may be different I guess. When we took all the front bolts out my mates winch was still tight. It wasn't until we loosened off one set of rear bolts (ie only a quarter of the winch was mounted) that the tightness went away. Or alternatively when we loosened the six free hub bolts....

Look at the charge ports. If it is a 1/4" flare fitting (you can see a taper and a male thread) then you have R12 gas, which is the old one and in theory no one can regas it for you with out converting to the new gas. Converting basically involves reclaiming the old gas, changing the oil and th...
