Re: (Slow) '87 SJ413 Build
A little update: Have been looking through some old Suzuki archives and have seen that someone recommended Pitstop for someone for their exhaust. Will be calling in there some day to talk to them about one for mine. And does anyone know why the body is lower on one side than the other? Im guessing i...

Has anyone had any experience with these tyres?
I have heard that they are a fairly decent budget tyre.

some comments. It will take a bit of work putting 33 inch tyres on a SJ ( but hey your crazy cousin runs 35s on a Vitara!) Re: Suzuki Second Battery
Generally bigger is better. I just use welding cable because its more flexi. Mine is actually 70mm, just went and checked. If I was winching more or had a bigger starter I'd probably go bigger. Its because of the distance though. If your still mounting the batteries in the engine bay that big would...

Search Falcon alternator upgrade for suzuki and you should find which alt's are a near direct fit. Often multi rib belt though so keep that in mind as you might have to find pulleys and also the waterpump can have the wrong reach. I had to fit a swift waterpump. I got an alt off an EL for one truck...

Re: Suzuki Second Battery
Higher CCA rating = better. I'd be looking for 600 at least. The other way batteries are rated is amp-hours (Ah) but I'm not sure how relevant those ratings are for winching, since they're based on a slow draw over 20 hours. "Deep cycle" will take a greater depth of discharge without dama...

Body lifts are easy to instal.
I would think that a 1 or 2 inch lift would be sufficient.
