12 point bolts are standard on the Discovery and Defenders from around 1993 from memory.

200tdi is considered a good and often sort after engine. Anything you buy will probably need suspension and tyres, especially if you intend to go off road.

This seems to have been introduced quietly.

Anybody know the real reason behind this? Initially it seemed to be Karioitahi Beach then suddenly Muriwai is included as well.

How easy are the permits to come by?
I see they are free at moment but for how long?

Re: wanted:nissan safari pto winch or high mount

It was 10-12 years ago for the Denny's comps when Aussies came over and competed. Back then they were abusing the electric motors putting 24v into 12v motors. These days electric motors are so much more efficient, faster and the development of the twin motor winches has come a long way. The Bow 3 mo...

Half the problem is tyre width. Too wide and it becomes a problem unless you opt for wide wheel arch flares and a guard trim. with 50mm lift and a little trim at back of rear wheel arch (which looks like has been done you will get 32-inch tyres. either 235x85x16 or 265x75x16. and because of the cle...
