Only rear drum park park pads are different, disc pads are the same for all 80 series, including ABS models. when i did my front pads recently the front pads were different inside to outside of the caliper but i just used one type as they both fitted not sure why they were different and hasnt affec...

but also be aware of cracking around the steering box area

my 80 had cracks and a brand new wof when i brought it even after i asked if it had them so be careful there.

got my suzuki resprung and moved so i can clean the workspace

add a few gussets here an there
make some spacers up for the rear of the radius arms
shock mounts
panard rod mounts
then it will be onto mounting tha motor

after owning both a gq and now 80 series criuser id be inclined to look at the 80

mine has done 400000 ks and is still going strong i picked it up for 8500

managed to get some zook time yesterday and some ok weather so brought home the plasma cutter from work and cut off all front end brackets plus rebuilt the front knuckle so i can bolt some wheels on and line up things. as we are looking at buying a house i need to get this at least sitting back on f...

a lil update

pulled the dash out of the body to remove wiring loom to start fresh

removed trans from the motor to start mounting the bighorn transfercase will get some pics tmrw

mine will be sas'ed in a couple of weeks

when the v6 holden shits itself i will be puttin an injected 304 inits place

fixed the left rear indicator in the 80

pulled the dash out of the zook to get rid of the factory wiring loom also cut the th700 trans to start making an adapter for the transfercase

any more info on it? ie what motor trans has been used?

ive seen on some vehicles that have had abs and airbags removed tha certifier puts a sticker on the gauge cluster to say it has been removed

so maybe that is an option? not sure if that can still be done etc
