well not a good story now took my auto hubs off and jacked the truck up to find the wheel bearing farking loose. so either i didnt it up correctly or what im not sure. and now the ring that goes over tha splines is abit shagged will get a pic up soon just wanting to know if i get manuel hubs will i ...

Just be aware that the Superwinch and all other aftermarket freewheel hubs are ALOT weaker than factory. The factory auto/manuals can be converted to manual witha small mod. I use whatever I can get cheap, ie at present I have a Superwinch and a AVM hub, as I use them as fuses. Much quicker to repl...

yeah they seem to "come on" while drivin down tha road so i stop and they clunk out and im away again

yeah i have tha superwinch hubs on watchlist

me thinks they are shagged

the right hand side is getting qite hot to toch and the left hand side is stone cold im guessing this isnt normal?

good excuse to by manuel hubs eh?

yeah the rigt front rotor is buggered so got prices today

front rotors $50 each new so getting a pair of them
front brake pads $40
rear pads $55
will check seals etc when i have the calipers off so all up its gonna set me back arond $180
pssh it only money they still printing it :D :mrgreen:

tonite i was driving and luckily when i got to where i was going the i pt my foot on the brake and there was an all mighty bang from somewhere now my brakes are all spongey and only just pulls it up and most of the brake fluid has gone from the master cylinder any ideas what may have happened? chee...

on rear bolts, the captive nuts are just held by loctite even a small amount of heat, i used paint strip gun ,will nuke the loctite, then they un-do peice of cake . Hey, thanks for that tip, worked well, got my 50mm lift blocks in today, after a beer or 2 and some real choice words as dust fell in ...

have just finished my bodylift on my LWB gq 50mm

not a nice tale to tell the rear bolts are an absolute C@^T to do i ended up cutting the floor and cutting the nut off!!!!!!

other than that it wasnt too bad to do i used M12x140 bolts all round

took me around 4hrs start to finish so not too bad
