Re: The 3VIL-Disco

That looks fairly new, the previous owner spent a bucket load on the motor I think the workshop must've seen them coming I hate to think what the bills were compared to what they sold it for. While I don't have receipts most of it is fairly obviously new. New injectors new cam lifters (evidenced by...

Best one I had was on way back from ski trip. in newish (best ones imho) Mini Cooper passed a holden ute. who was sitting round 105k. I blasted by, he obviously took ...

I'm not very familiar with the X5 , does it have a low ratio in the transfer case or not? Looks really good, approach and departure angles are amazing compared to stock. Let's see how the suspension and steering hold up off road. I think you will need the traction control switched off for mud, as i...

Re: X5 Project.

Mmmmmm Still a bit vague I can do the bar because it's a 4x4 manufactured before 2003..

However welding to the structure... I read as a no no.

I do however think I have a plan to tie it back without welding. wont be quite as good but do believe it will work good...

Re: X5 Project.

with the snatch points you are probably best to use the bar you have made to mount the hooks as the bar will take the load from the two bolts holding the hook on and the nar in itself will spread the load accross the front of the chassi of the vehicle ...as apposed to attempting to make or incorper...
