From Nelson we are planning to tackle New Creek to Denniston, Stockton, then down to No Name, Cock eye creek. Napol...

We went through No Name Road between Xmas and New Years, I would be suprised if any one came out with panel damage. Unless they went nuts in the small swamp area in the midle of the track, but even that was pretty mild this time.

Went out today, tyres went great. Feel a bit stiff off road at 30 PSI but they performed real well. Cleared the mud good as. Never aired them down to see how they went on the rocks as a mate decided to roll his ute before we got to the real rough stuff. Other than being a bit stiff in the sidewalls ...

Help Guys, One of my mates has just rolled his Hilux, so in need of a new cab. He has a double cab LN65, so if anyone has a cab or knows of one, please let us know.
We may have access to a 2.8 cab, does anyone know if this will fit onto te 2.4 Chassis, or are the cab mount in different locations?

Cheap Mud Tyres $995 set of Four

http://www.genie4x4.com (NZ website) have Denman Groundhawg tyres on special. Last time I looked a few days back there were a few sets left, 33/12.5/15 crossply, and 32/11.5/15 radials. Having the ram facing accross the windscreen can be a problem if you hit water at speed, water flies up, hits the windscreen then flies sideways into your snorkel.

Is that a 50mm max for certification reasons? There are guys here in Nelson with 80mm plus of lift in their Luxs and Cruisers. I put in the blocks about a year ago at the same time as I did a suspension lift. The guy who soes my warrants is a keen 4WDer himself who "hasn't noticed" the blocks. Will ...

I've done a 60mm body lift already, and the plan is for 33's also. With the front suspension I should gain about 75mm in height from factory leaf set up so there should be a heap of room there.

Reece, I am going to be using rear leafs up front, but still haven't sorted how far forward to move the diff. I am going to be using rear leafs from a 97 Hilux which about 56 inches long which will mean moving the whole lot forward as the centre pin is too far back. How far forward have you moved yo...

Hilux spring length

Does anyone own a LN107? I would like to know the distance between the spring mount and the shackle mount in the rear (eye centre to eye centre). The leaf spring is 4 inches longer than the earlier Hilux rear spring so I am wondering if the mounting points have been moved because of this?

Doing this to the shackle end of your front leaf would make your driveshaft bind when you drop a wheel

yep you are right Have seen it done with either a half leaf bolted on behind bumpstop with two u-bolts and a locating pin, or, when longer leaves have been used, such as Falcon etc. A complete leaf inverted and fitted to the original hilux spring eye, with a clamp to limit droop on the inverted leaf...

I have to set up all front spring mounts as I am getting rid of IFS. I have all the spring and shackle hangers from an old hilux chassis Figured going under the chassis for the shackle hangers would be easier to mount and also it is instant lift. Only thing I am not sure on is, the mount under the c...
