You can buy disk brake hand brakes that go on the transfercase / drive shaft and they just bolt on. They would be the easiest option. Suzilla (think thats spelt wrong) on here sells them, cheers,from what ive seen on lvvta, carden shaft is only certifyable if factory fitted to gearbox unfortunatly....

had the day off work today and started haveing a play with the rear brakes..it appears the leone calipers are more suited to a smaller diameter disk as it leaves a section ontop of the pad not swept. hard to see but theres a scribed line on it (about 5mm from top) http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/...

if it is the contacts the starter will give one click per turn of the key to start..rappid clicking would point to poor voltage,either battery or on the excite wire or failed hold in coil in solenoid.

no click doesnt mean solenoid faulty..if you bash it and it goes you will have worn out brushes..stop bashing and fix it or youll fu*k the armature, if you havent already... solenoid has two internal windings the main pull in winding intially earths through the motor(and brushes) then the hold in th...

some shops can get replacement armatures for pumps like that last one i brought for a job at work was about 120 bucks rrp i think..

Ran one on a 3.8v6 at 5psi. No problems, had it for 4 odd yrs

TRD used eatons (i think) in their kit for those motors.

got a 3 liter v6 surf that im thinking about adding a sc14 supercarger(yes i know about the headgasket issues...) but with the vaccuum operated add and what not on the front diff,is it going to try and dissingage the front end when the motor is making boost? due to the lack of vacuum? cheers Alistair
