My uncle has a worked 331 Chev with gene extractors into a single 3inch pipe. The performance is actually better than a twin. sounds very nice, but 3inch gets expensive and will sound louder without the correct muffler.
3inch mild steel, HPC coated looks better than chrome

MIG or MAG Welder Wanted
I'm in the market for a MIG, possibly MAG if the price is right.
Anyone got any recommendations or even have one they want to sell.
Need to weld at least 5mm plate steel.
Cheers

Have you looked at the water-to-air intercoolers. They have come way down in price. More options when it comes to installing and they are getting better performance.
I was looking at a subaru kit to put on my TD27. You can pick them up for around $300, second-hand. Intercooler, pump and radiator.

Thats what I thought.
Wondered if there was some other place because you cannot get to the chassis with those jacks. Definately need some form of bar work to expose the chassis to jack.

Using a hi lift jack on a standard Terrano??
Maybe a stupid question with an obvious answer.....
Haven’t had to do this yet, but if you want to change a tyre with a high lift jack, where is the best place to position it on a Terrano. I wouldn't trust the Terrano bumpers for lifting off.
Cheers

Re: Terrano - Light on the steering
Hmmmm, sounds like your problem is a little different to mine, but interesting you have it on 2 Terranos. My steering was always fairly heavy to begin with. Never changed really, but noticed a big difference after the upgrades. I would have though larger wheels would put more load on it. It's not a ...

Terrano - Light on the steering
I can't remember when it happened, but before the suspension and body lift and the new 32 tyres the steering always felt fairly heavy. These days the steering is so much easier like the power steering has finally started working again. Does anyone know what makes the steering a lot lighter? Just int...

Spare Mud tyre wanted 32x(10.5-11.5)x15
Hi
Anyone in the greater Wellington area got a Mud tyre of 32 x (10.5-11.5) x 15 ?
Running Maxxis Bighorn 32x11.5.15 on the truck.
I just need one tyre to fit on the 5th rim as a spare. Doesn't need to be flash, but at least warrantable.
Cheers

Re: Torsion bar locking clips are a b*stard
My question is do I need to put them back in? It's just I'm doubtful that they serve a purpose given the torsion arms are held in place so firmly without them. Any thoughts on this? Hey, firstly good job. Yes those clips can be fun. I have a Terrano with what looks like a simlar setup. That clip he...

Re: Coil Springs - Are "Cobra" any good?
I purchased these to do a 50mm lift in the Terrano. They are up-rated, so will be a much more firm ride. I like them because I carry heavy loads in the back of the truck. Just make sure if you are doing this and you have old shocks, then the shocks will probably need upgrading to slow down the recoi...

Re: Rallywoods firewood collection & track clearing 19/20 Ma
Thinking off the firewood subject and since you will be up my way the weekend. I have a shit load of firewood, but would need someone with good 4x4 skills to check the access. I got stuck down there but with a couple of trucks the stuck factor is removed. I have about 150 30 meter gum trees. the wif...

Hi All
Some time back I saw a post about documenting all of the track maps. I can't seem to find it anymore, and was interested in seeing whats is around.
Does anyone know where it went?
