Brakes and fluid
So here i am again trying to sort out rusty brakes etc. So got to thinking.... On my bushy which generally dont travel at any real speed i was thinking that if i ran with antifreeeze instead of brake fluid.... It would be friendly to the rubbers etc at a guess and as fluid dont compress it should fu...

Re: Beadlocks
Ive recently had a set of rims locked and centers reversed onto my rims. Cost a tad over 6spot. So if you add 4 for the rims then starting from scratch it would be around a grand. Assuming they still are reasonibly true and round then maybe 6spot or there abouts more if they are tidy, less if beaten...

Look at marks adaptors to get lower gearing out of tranfur box.
Otherwise sounds like an awesome build coming up

Re: An Un-named Outlaw...
Yes but why is it any different than the gearbox that your going to drive it off..... it will still need gearing reduction to set the speed so the torque loading will be the same Yeah hear ya but was only thinking that the flex plate clutch plate mounting is way stronger than the front pully mount....

Re: An Un-named Outlaw...
If asuming you use the 100a at 48v and not using any lose due to converting that equals 4800w. That converys to 6.4hp. Average v belt output is less than 4.5hp. That then converts to twin belt similar to a p.s. unit working full time. Will need an up idle whilst charging due to power requirements wi...

Re the 48vdc issue....
What about running a 240vac generator and converting to 48vdc?
My pik is that would be the only way to get a decent amperage of say 100a . It would mean the 240vac would have to put out 20 to 25 amp. Then look at welders for the ac to dc converter.

Mould numbers mean nothing either.
Even the importers have no idea, what size they are getting from batch to batch.
Back to potluck then.
