Yep, AKL. This is my 6th Defender (but first 110SW) - I've had 4 90's, 1 110Double Cab ute, and now this one. Shane, I see yours often too - nice to "meet" my neighbour.

The start of a journey. Plans are to make this a fun vehicle to travel around, camp, etc. On the hunt for some parts so if you have any give me a shout. I'll keep a log updated here as I make progress w/ the 110.

Isn't this Blasphemy!? Well at least you aren't converting it to 2wd as well... not blasphemy when sitting in traffic on the motorway :D I've heard good things from people who have converted them... quite a few ppl saying they would never go back. I've owned 200tdi, 300tdi, td5, and a puma... they ...

have you got a dead one? my advice would be buy one from a v8 and swap the bell housing, i missed on the other week on trade me that sold for $51! No - am looking at swapping a manual to auto in a Defender. Daily driving in traffic duties... I did that many years ago too. I bought a v8 90 manual an...

Looking for a set of 31x10.5x15 tyres for my Jeep XJ (with 2" lift). Prefer mud terrain types.

Also interested in wheel/tyre sets if you have something. Otherwise tyres are fine.
