Selwyn can be fun. Watch out for all the pea gravel though, couple of places you get that sinking feeling!

There is only 1 motivation for its use and they don't seem to care to admit it. They have said its not faultless, that no tool is perfect but that its the cheapest most effective way to target pests. I don't have a vested interest at all.
Merely asking pointing out the errors in the quoted "facts" on all the anti 1080 web sites and asking for clarification of statements.
I haven't ignored anything. I just chose to focus on an error.

Because I know it's safe I don't care about it. They are not dropping it the lakes. Even if some did find it's way in there it would be so diluted it won't matter. Do you know how much they would have to direct drop into the lakes to have an effect? Don't forget it's biodegradable. Now, one thing I ...

Would you happily drink water knowing its come from resevoiurs in the hills where 1080 has been dropped? I have other reasons why I dislike it but that's my main issue. Are we absolutely certain that there are going to be no side effects on our kids and their kids from this in 50 years time because...

Way too much paranoia and conspiracy theory type rubbish spread by the anti 1080 campaigners. A common one is the "19 different native bird species have had corpses test positive for 1080 after aerial 1080 operations" Not an untrue statement, but as usual the facts are misrepresented if th...

Oh so why don't I ask the LVVTA guys? Emailed them and got a reply back within the hour, turns out the guy on the end is a mate of mine from welly! Anyway the answer is: As posted above, 2 sizes on your cert plate. The tester does the applicable tests and paperwork for each set of wheels. :D

Another cert question, swapping wheels
So in preparation for fitting a 2" body lift and aftermarket front arms I went and saw the local cert guy. I asked him about putting the wheel size on the cert plate as I intend to run a set for off road trips and a set for daily driving. 32" muds on 15x8 rims 31 a/t on 15x7 rims both rims...

Re: Best coolant for water to air inter cooler
The important thing is to make sure your water cooling part of the system works properly.
I've used water wetter (I think it's redline?) with anti freeze and a large water capacity and I was pretty impressed with how cool it ran things.
My tip is run as much water capacity as you can.

Argh I am but It's going in the shed this weekend so I can sort the body lift and injector pump leak.
Due to other commitments (missus has landscaping plans for me ) It might take me a few weekends to get it sorted. Once I have I'm keen as a bean

Re: Flushing engine block
I'm assuming you will do this before refitting the radiator. Go to Para rubber or similar and buy some bungs so you can block the coolant inlet/outlet. Pull a heater hose off. put the garden hose on one end of the heater hose and turn it on. Then put the hose up the other end of the heater hose to r...

Toyota any auto electrical suppliers will have them. Repco can/might/should if you can find someone there who gives a ####.
As for LED I'm not sure. My local suppler can get me some, but I haven't had a chance to go see them and get pricing

Have another real good watch, look on the inside of the truck when he first appears. His front wheel is only a foot or 2 from the inside. The rear wheels always track tighter than the fronts. The line he was on is the line he had to take to get around the corner. Any tighter and he risks dropping th...

Locally, for u-joints you can contact any good truck part supplier. I have used Maxi Auto Parts for genuine Dana Spicers. Very helpful. Yep any and every truck (real truck, not 4wds) parts supplier will be able to supply genuine spicer. I'd try one of the big ones like Truckstops or Allrig as they ...
