They actually measure more than 37inch :D Before that I used to ran 35inch Silverstone which were slighty under 35 inch The big advantage for me is diff clearance doesn't matter how good yo...

Re: Bullbars got WOF for years, now take them off?

Its all about safety and ass covering these days
Easy way round it is to fit air bag approved bar, after paying cert man getting all the bits and bobs then putting aside a weekend to sort out
But yeah you have options above aswell

Re: WANTED - AIR COMPRESSOR FOR AIR LOCKER

If you go with a option above you'll need a pressure switch and make something to put your locker solenoids into From memory I paid $250ish for the small arb compressor that only does lockers, comes with a nice wiring harness But cheap and easy enough to buy like a supercheap compressor and hard wire...

Its a metaphor, probably like most of your orginal post Tbh 99% people that buy y62 patrols are more into driving on road towing boats and doing the school run As for 4x4 in the last ten years my pick is the v8 diesel turbo 70 series in a wagon or troopy please it actually is 4 wheel driven First gen...

Easy option but probably not the cheapest would be fitting air bag approved front bar.
Then you can leave the air bags there.

Re: Air bag removal

When I first took my truck for cert He failed it on airbags and front seatbelts because they work together? Ended up leaving all in because my truck doesn't have to meet frontal impact laws which I had to prove. Custom front bar was reason for removing air bags,if I had a arb/tjm/xrox etc... front b...

On hill climbs with the boat on the trans gets pretty hot. I have an alarm on it so when it goes off I pull over and select low range. I...
