Have you pulled the gear selector out of the top of the box?
It sounds like its stuck in gear and the selector fork may have come off the shaft?

Re: Your Last Chance to Save Our Pistol Grips
done mine and taken it into the local hunting shops and they hadn't heard anything about it.
the disapointing thing looking at some of the hunting and shooting forums is that some of the people who dont have a semi with a pistol grip dont care, i think everyone should send a submission in!!!!

Re: Bit Of Advice.....
If you know any panelbeaters, get them to do the job so you have a paper record if you ever get pinged on it for a wof, or tack the box section in and get a certified welded to finish it.

a gps navigation system that also shows speed is not allowed but a dedicated speedo that is hard wired and unable to be removed is allowed!!!!!!! if you dont believe me you are more than welcome to ring VTNZ!

Re: Gearbox swap electric to manual speedo?
as a wof inspector it is legal (we use them for the hot rods)but if you get pulled over by the police not having a odometer connected for RUC will get you in trouble. but just put any speedo drive in so it logs some km and use the gps unit for your road speed.

put a aftermarket gps speedo in then if you put big tyres on it you dont have to worry about recalibration.
