Mount it on you fire wall not under your truck! and make sure you do your ...

Re: Oil…oil…everywhere - Story of a Bleeding Samurai
well i am not sure what brand pump you are buying but i would change brand, one question why would anyone mount a fuel pump under their truck ???? it doesnt hurt the pump to suck fuel because once it has pressure they hold it and as for over pressurising the float, most pumps are adjustable so you c...

Re: Oil…oil…everywhere - Story of a Bleeding Samurai
most electric pumps are sealed units and normally mounted higher than your distributor so if your car gets wet its going to stop anyway. And if your float isnt seating properly its going to flood anyway and if its a common problem fix your carb! most aftermarket electric pumps are designed to cavata...

Do the glow plugs have power at the rail and for how long? Are the glow plugs you replaced the same voltage as the old ones? and when you say hard to start, it winds and winds then starts in a cloud of smoke?

Re: high idle/low running temp
Short drive not enough to get to normal operating temp but enough to warm the water,so if both hoses are warm the thermostat is open but shouldn't be! most thermostats open about 85 degrees so a short trip won't get it to that temp. And even efi cars have a choke its not like a carb choke its a modu...

Re: high idle/low running temp
Thermostat may be stuck open, to check go for a short drive and feel the hoses if one cold and one warm it isn't stuck open , if both warm then get a new one,if that doesn't fix it blow the water lines that run thru the choke out with air compressor.

I can't comment on chase as we don't use them and all the prices i get are trade price, but you would be hard pressed to beat autobends range of standard exhaust systems or there performance range that include bigbore systems for safari, cruiser and terrano .
