The reason they advertise is because I asked if they wanted to But they still pay for advertising here so you are showing some favouritism, but guess you are just supporting your advertiser. However since you don't have first hand experience with 4WD upgrades you probably would have been better not...

Youll probably find people wont comment on 4wd upgrades as they have had a bad reputation via word of mouth, You wouldn't be biased with that staement by any chance? Considering that Summit 4WD pay for advertising on this site it appears you favour them. But then money talks! 4WD Upgrades have a go...

Don't get hung up on the cost because everyone is different. It depends on the vehicle, the age, valve and the risk involved (ie alarm, garaged etc). Insurance cost vary between towns and cities of residence and even suburbs so what one person gets for their dollar, another may have to pay $1.50 in ...

once you use synthetic rope you will never go back to steel and wonder why you never did it earlier even on club trips Been there done that. It's all right if just self recoverying as rope stays static. On club trips where you end up winching other vehicles and the rope is damaged running through m...

the cost of synthetic rope is equilivent to the cost of about 1 tyre on your truck, its not that unaffordable? But the tyre should last a lot longer and is not affected by UV to the same extent. These smaller club type events should allow the use of wire cable. After all they are supposed to be fun...

ARB use the Monroe shocks to make their Old Man Emu's. They revalve and re work them though for better off road performance.

Its always a problem when you start thinking......especially out loud lol. Haven't geard anything really bad about these winches. They seem OK but how many people are actually using them? I note the comment about the warranty...... They have a factory warranty of 12months when used according to the ...

from what i saw they had alloy ones... would they wear as quick? and is a roller fairlead nicer/gentler on the plasma stuff than a hawse type setup? Use alloy fairlead with plasma rope. A steel one if brand new might be OK but will retain friction heat longer and cause damage to the rope. You can u...

Nah I will ignore it until it's fcked, then try and fix it myself, end up making it worse and then end up paying three times as much getting it fixed

Never a truer word said......................Maybe you should try following the advice ocassionally.

In some cases who really cares if the track gets a bit more ripped up! Some places it seems to me that there is much effort to limit 4x4 use to protect the tracks for 4x4 use. This is precisly why many tracks and areas for four wheeling have been permanently closed. Not an attitutde that will allow...

"As long as you have plonkers who like slipping in the slipper, this arguement is totally useless. I have seen guys on 33's do twice the damage that a rig with bigger tyres will do." And I have seen far more damage done with 35's plus size tyres. Yes, many of those with larger tyres look for more c...

Certainly would be nice to have, even as a roughie.
Looked like it never went off road before the accident.
The shipping cost won't be too bad, it will be the extra's that the port companies and freight forwarders ad onto that will make it rather costly.

The Come-Up winch range is very good, but you can not compare it with an 8274. Its apple and oranges between the two, two totally different winches in size, manufacture and performance. At least with Come-Up marketed through the ARB network you can rely on the back up support. They would sell anythi...

Almost anything can be done, it all depends on how deep your pockets are. You need to work out what you want to achieve and go from there. Certainly the later v8's can be tuned or even use another system such as megasqurit, link or similar. Power wise the 3.9 efi has a lot more over the 3.5 carby mo...
