Re: Mitsi V6 3.0 6G72 Wont Start ??

Well finally got it sorted fingers crossed, after lots of fault finding, the on line fault checking was really helpful and most useful was the wiring diagram sent by Andy, thanks very much for that. Turns out ECU and all the sensors were okay, problem was there were two broken wires about 250mm from...

Hi,
My VN 3.8 car 1989 did not have an O2 sensor, it was the series I VN, think the Series II had an O2 sensor.

Re: Mitsi V6 3.0 6G72 Wont Start ??

Thanks for the replies, looks like I need to find an ECU to try, anyone know of one to either try local to Hamilton or one to buy.

Question, will any 6G72 manual ECU do, or is it vehicle model specific.

Re: Wanted Landcruiser 70 axle

Yes the 40 Series is pretty much the same length as 70 Series. Yes Longfield did a Long Spline long axle for the 40 series, but I think that was only with their 30 spline supersets, not sure if they did the 27 spline ones. Not sure if TrailGear ( who now own Longfield ) are doing long spline axles, ...

Hi Andy, Thank you for the offer, much appreciated, just need to track down the fault. Bazaar thing is the only thing done between running and then not starting is disconnecting the battery. Mitsi V6 3.0 6G72 Wont Start ??

Hi, need some help Got a Mitsi J Top with the above engine and it wont start which has me baffled. Seems to have fuel but no spark, took the lead off the coil and checked it against the engine. Re: lvvta driveshaft cert

metal stretches when bent, 5mm stretched into a hoop will make it below requirement. that is why he has asked you to remake it in thicker steel. Yes the out side of the curve will stretch but the inside will compress about the neutral axis when bending flat, doesn't quite work the same for round. T...

Hilux fronts probably fit too as mentioned before if the banjo bolt on the caliper is the same size.
hilux don't have a banjo bolt, the hose goes to a hard pipe that then goes to the caliper

Agree with this ,
A sticker exactly like the banner at the top of the page would be cool.

Not sure you need the www or the kiwi at the end because if you put offroadexpress into the net it takes you to the correct place even if you have never been there before, mate at work tested it.

My reading of the article is that the temp drop should be about 10 deg F, as you have got about 20 degF that would indicate that your flow is abut half what it should be.

Wanted Old Toyota Drive Flanges and Caps

Hi,

Looking for some old drive flanges and caps just to cover the end of the hub, as using some surf hubs and stubs for a trailer, doesn't matter if the splines are stripped.

Thank you
