Mazda Gearbox's?????????

Postby rotordogg » Tue Mar 18, 2014 11:27 am

I've had a quick search and google but can't find a lot, hoping someone here will be able to help me out.

I'm following a couple of rumours, Are all Mazda gearbox's and bell housings compatible? as in can I put a bell housing form a rwd mazda onto a 4wd gearbox to mate the engine to it?
And what gearbox's are easy to work with? As in when did electronics take over??

I'm looking at mating a 20B 3 rotor to a Mazda 4wd ute Auto and using it in a multi purpose tube frame truck.

Doing a bit of work on gearbox/transfer is fine for me, just trying to make it easy if I can and also makes swapping spares in a lot better!!

(Yes, I've already been told I'm nuts!)
