Gearbox drain plug

Postby rollingrufus » Thu Nov 19, 2015 5:58 pm

Lads,
Just did my diff gearbox and T/C oil but noticed on the gearbox the drain plug is not a magnetic one. Is it meant to be?All the other drain plugs are magnetic. I'm assuming yes but just wanted to check.
Cheers lads.

That's what I was hoping! I reckon old mates dropped it on the workshop floor, it's dissapeared underneath the work bench and he's put a filler plug in...

some gearboxes don't have magnetic plug, they have a magnet bolted on inside the gearbox.
