x5 15x10 24 bolt beadlock rims

One is missing a lock ring, they are powdercoated red and have extra bracing welded onto the inside bead to prevent the rims bending on those super heavy hits! They are Grant Guys old winch challenge wheels that he used in the Auzzy Outback Challenge but we have been running them on our work truck before deciding to spruce it up with some mickey tompson alloys 8)

Nice wheels but cant be used in NI winch challenges as they have to be 36 bolt and 24 bolt cant to be certified for the road

Not trying to threadjack, but whats the point in those useless rules "oh sorry you cant use those beadlocks in this OFFROAD competition because they are illegal onroad"

Just another example of how restrictive and ridiculous some of the NI rules are. 4x4 challenges consider themselves to be rather righteous in this regard.

You can get them certified, just need to have the right certifier who truly understands.

The rules are set so that standards can be applied equally to all and also its not a case of "check book" racing when those with the deepest pockets can dominate the events.

Rules can always be amended....

Have you ever read the NI rules? All they say is the wheels must be certified to LVVTA standard.

The LVVTA cert rules are pretty clear - one bolt every 10 degrees which = 36 bolts. So while some certifiers might "pass" 24 bolt wheels they are just bending or ignoring the LVVTA rules and the cert is technically invalid.

Not saying 24 bolt wheels are no good, I just don't know what all the confusion is about, or why you would blame 4wd Challenges.

Am interested in a single 24 bolt lock ring. Let me know if anyone knows of a spare floating around.
