Good luck finding one of those but you can still get them new from Toyota for $550
Toyota Landcruiser FJ40, front and rear lockers, 35" simex.
Toyota FJ45 build in progress.
Tires are like boobs, they always look big until you have played with them for a while, then you just want a bigger set.

Howatt Enineering in welly made one for a mate of mine so he could put e-locker in the front of his 70.

Howat Eng makes axles in wellington, longfield used to do long spline axles but trailgear don't list them on their site now they have brought longfield

Don't take my word for it but I'm pretty sure late model 40 series long field axles are the same as 70 series. Talk to suzolla on here , I've brought all my longfields through him , he should be able to help.

pretty certain you are right there but he is after a special axle to suit the oe locker. it has double the spline length. now if they have that axle then he would be super happy at a guess

Yes the 40 Series is pretty much the same length as 70 Series.
Yes Longfield did a Long Spline long axle for the 40 series, but I think that was only with their 30 spline supersets, not sure if they did the 27 spline ones.
Not sure if TrailGear ( who now own Longfield ) are doing long spline axles, I ordered some in my last shipment that has arrived, but I don't think they were long spline, will have to check

Cheers
Tim
