After phoning around for a price on a Class 5 turntable hitch, (3k$), and goosenecking the trailer (7k$) I decided I'd rather not.
So my current thinking is to upgrade the existing bar as needed to get 3.5T, and fit a titan style 50x50mm pin locking tube. Pretty standard stuff eh.
THEN I want a) a towball, preferably interchangable sizes b) a tow pin c) ringfeeder/pintle hook d) snatch shackle
...And then I want it all to be height adjustable
Am I asking too much?
I realise the snatch shackle is probably going to be it's own thing, but is there anything that combines
with
and
and
that can be bought off the shelf, and fits into the 50x50, rather than having to bolt onto plate...?
The other option is that I draw up something that combines images 4 & 2 and get that fabricated (???), buy something similar to image 3 but with the bolt plate rather than tongue

W.H.Y.?

Pintle can do all that by interchanging pin for ball when needs be

That's what I was thinking. Does anyone supply them with the 50x50 mounting?

Still has to be bolted to that though huh? Bit of a kludge but might be the way I go. Thanks.
