Hey, i have a '70 Series 2a 109 5 door wagon.. it's ex d.o.c with quite a few series 3 parts in it and with a 202, safari roof with vents, v8 rear diffs, series 3 gearbox and fairey overdrive (can't imagine driving it without one tbh).
It's on steel rims with road going 32" M/T's on it but may keep them, i have a full set of a/t's on factory wheel's but not wofable i think.
New starter motor/clutch plate, new front brake slave cylinders, will be putting in new front shoes this weekend, new fuel cap, recently changed eye bushes, new front door tops left and right, new side mirrors (hinge mounted), new hinge pins and brass bearings on rear door, new synchro clips on 1&2 gears.
Will being doing a wof this coming week, rego (it's listed as a goods van) is good for another 11.5 months $108/year.
Also have swapped out the rear sliding window body panel for an 88 fixed window body panel as the runners were rusty and rattly.
Will come with a spare brand new bonnet for wof's, current one has rust near the firewall so failed last time around.
Obviously its a long way from being perfect, there's still a long list of things to do, and which old landy isnt, but im really after a 2 door wagon as i mainly got it for my dogs so the seats are sitting in my garage and the back is lined with a thick rubber matting, im keen an a hard top/soft top 109, army, wof/no-wof whatever..
Am in no rush so will still be improving/maintaining mine as i drive it daily, quite a bit will be done this week for the new wof.
Keen for swaps and cash my way or yours, if no luck i'll probably list it for sale in the coming months.
Or if you have a 109 you may be selling or think of selling down the track let me know, particularly fond of army 109's... but don't have room for 2 landy's at the same time, yet..
