Hi Warren, did you get the wof?

I have a mate down here that has a set of those Jeep axles surplus to requirements... They are st up with disc's on all fours and converted to 6 stud.

Are you interested in them?

The front one would bolt straight in but the back one would require you to put the spring mounts back on it - he cut them off to put on a hilux diff that is now under it.

As far as I am aware they are ok, it has been a rally Jeep for years and years.

Sweet. You must have got that stack in the weekend if your taking more photos...

Whats up with the windscreen?
Bit of chain on each side of the door should keep your lunch out of the mud. Could use a lynch pin on one or both ends so you can still drop it down or take it off easily but bolts are probably less clumsy.

Looking forward to seeing those pictures.

taz forget about the stack at the moment please  but did price up bit's but no funds bought a 05 commodore instead :)
re the windcsreen, surround was rusty, when I removed the rust I didn't check the edges for straight so need to staighten up before the screen is cut and fitted joys of it being a flat sceen just got a piece of lamiate marked as windscreen glass and get cut to suit, the old screen scratched so it become the spare !!! :? :?

Also fitted the tail gate and attached spare wheel catch (thanks yeti )need to paint and fit inside cover
Image

this is how it started out
Image

Exhaust man turned up and tweeked exhaust just got to grind off old weld and get clamps and then see where it leaks!!and he told me what to get for the stack
so for having a day off very expensive

anyone painting anything in the next week or so????????got the paint but not the gear to do it

well i have my windscreen cut and fitted and put back on the jeep so thought will tidy up the exhaust and then do the rear drive shaft i fitted the greasable uj wrong way (could not grease it)round all going well till mr murphy arraive on of the bolts hiding the drive shaft on starting turning when putting back together mummble mutter mmummble :( so have to take handbrake apart then oil leaking every where and then NO BLODDY bolts the right size in stock so that will put paid to that idea
so going around in circles again!
hopefully tailgate ready this week
