i was thinking about suzuki's the other day and found some cool stuff on trademe. After only owning toyotas i looked at a couple of samurai's (sj80 i think?). all coil sprung and solid axles (i didnt know this). Im quite keen to find one of them and just rip the body and bolt a roll cage to it then chuck some ridiculous tyres on it and get the crawler gears in the transfer case and you have a super light, kind of amazing 4x4. so to answer your question, i would say its easy! Just pull the body off.

reckon if ya gonna put wide diffs under it like 80 series or nissan GU, then the tahs wont be a problem, co they will stick out that far they wont touch a thing

SJ80 were the shitist of them all (mudslut will disaprove  ) dont flex - for a coil sprung vehicle and had weaker running gear.

Awsome idea!

With a gas axe and a BFH you can make anything fit

Ive seen a vitara at rallywoods with iroks ( photos from when Jafa took his hilux there). If anyone knows it? 40's or only 37's?
