I'll post a pic after there been made there solid bar same diameter as pipe

Another update mate had a go at bending pipe to suit wheel arch but because there so curved didn't really look right.so got a crowd to form 4 pipes up to match the the curve wasn't cheap to get done but sort of got to look right too.
next week should be bit of progress happening so should have sliders, front and rear bar done maybe even bit of cage work.

Looks Good! A fair bit of work getting all those curves in just the right place I'd imagine

Went a bit elaborate with the bars cause only thing I want flexing is the suspension,no point having bars if when you lean on them the hit your truck which I have seen
Full size lwb truck is sometimes restricted to the line it can take so sometimes you have to lean it on banks and trees.
I'll post some pics up of my old 80 and then maybe you will understand why haha.
Total weight of bars work is just over 300kg

Not sure
Mates doing fab work,it's a Hitachi drill with holesaw that clamps into notcher which you can set pipe angles in.Its nothing flash more of its getting measurements and angles bang on

not quite my cup of tea but your mates got good fabrication skills and a good eye for aesthetics to get it follow the lines of the truck and make it look good :D there's plenty of exos out there that look like playground jungle gyms welded onto trucks :D your front bar design looks good :D

Cheers for complements guys :D
Realize it's not everybody's cup of tea,it's built to suit my needs
Which is a wagon that drives nice on road with all the luxuries like leather heated seat etc...
but still is a tough truck where it counts.
Probably would of been easier task to do some sort of chop for rear roof clearance from obstacles
I like full bodied trucks though and there practical for tiki touring around nz
Which is what this cruiser will be doing aswell as going bush and doing some of the harder tracks around 8)
