Update on Snorkel
Masked up & ready to cut.
Went the stitching 4mm holes & powerfile direction.
Kept the holes less then 4mm apart so can join with slight angling of the drill. keeps it neat.
DIY riv-nut tool.
long bolt, nut on next then washer, then something to stop the riv-nut spinning (I use angle iron so can hold spanner at same time) then riv-nut far enough up the bolt shaft to use all thread in the riv-nut. insert in to hole, hold the angle iron & the bolt still, & tighten the nut until solid.! done.
We had 3 homemade rivnut tools (5,6,8,mm) using a cordless drill in the shop until we bought the proper tool and it made huge difference in speed of installation especially doing 60+ in a day lol.
