MASSIVE WELLINGTON HELP NEEDED -

Postby skid » Mon Aug 23, 2010 10:14 pm

Righto as the title alludes to, there is going to be a massive amount of help needed from the Wellington crew over the next year or so.

The reason for this is that myself (skid) and Reece (suzuki1k) have decided that its time for Wellington to host a round of the National Winch Series.

We are going to hold this at Rallywoods, and I can already hear some of you saying, that its not a good enough location or its overused or anything else you may be thinking, but we have put a lot of thought into the location and it suits our needs. We can even use the Queens Brthday event next year as a pre-run for the proposed november 2011 national event

The main reason for this help thread is to inform you all that we are going to be opening up a few new tracks and few old ones that have been overgrown for a number of years. We need tracks that you will have to winch up and after a lot of discussion and walking through dense bush, we believe we have found what we are after.

You will all benfit from this as it will open up a few more tracks in Rallywoods that over time will become more drivable and will be there to be enjoyed by all.

So keep an eye out on the forum for threads about track clearing at Rallywoods and bring, chainsaws, scrub bars, weedeaters, loppers, machetes and anything else you can think of to clear tracks

if any of you have a spare bulldozer lying around, that would be bloody awesome

cheers and many thanks in advance

keep an eye for more

Yep pretty sure I'm good for this one, what do we need to bring other than lunch and cold refreshments.... chainsaws, axes, slashers, shovels, spades, picks, grubbers or anything else? Is it only a day trip coz I probably cant stay Saturday night at this stage?
