What mods has it had done?

It was running a later V8 and had 110 axles with ARB diff locks .The suspension was modified with nearly 900mm wheel travel and 35 inch tyres.

Still broke CVs and Diffs

Cheers Richard

The biggest mod it had done to it was removing half the brain of the guy who drove it. Andi gave that thing absolute death until it did actually die :P :P

Yeah still here, but doing more hunting than 4WDing. Or if I'm lucky 4WDing instead of carrying!

Last I saw of Bodge he'd bought a pole house in Titirangi, sold the Rangie, bought a VW Kombi camper, and was taking up Macrame. There are rumours he's breeding. Exactly what I don't know.

How long have you had the landy? Used to see it in the local club comps and the odd national back in the late 80s/early 90s.

It,s a 2.5 Petrol i don,t like diesels and they want big money for diesels in the UK also had to be <1990 for no hassles importing into NZ.
did a semi rebuild with a second hand chassis
gwyn lewis suspension kit (less springs, still to do)
DIY paintjob (Roller and brush)

I've only had it about 6 months, was a bit neglected but have been fixing/replacing bits and pieces so I can go to a 4wd event one day.Its a beast having the Leyland 4.4 litre v8,have had quite a bit of fun running over anything that gets in way at the river :D

Bloody hell:

Shovel, winch master and bush crasher, ya all have very nice rigs man! I want a 90 one day once i have had enough of me Disco. I am thinking of importing a 90 from my old stomping ground South Africa with the factory BMW 2.80 motor in it.

I had a chat with an old BMW friend a few weeks back and some are around at worth while prices.

Heres my series 3 powered by a thirsty holden 202 and revs its guts out. defender front end, a few cosmetic extras, wee 31" tyres. need bigger tyres to improve the open road speed.
